They Have Jaws, Jaws Like A Shark. ⭐⭐

 Pterodactyl 2, 2023 is an English ITN movie, a follow up to 2021's Pterodactyl. The plot references the first movie considerably but only cast member Danielle Scott appears from the original. Overacting abounds and at one point a campy treatment of a traumatic disorder just irks rather than character builds. The creatures themselves are nicely rendered with a predisposition for impaling people on their beaks. Which is a good thing as I wasn't really engaged with this cast's performance. There are a few great dramatic scenes but overall, it's a straight shoot and run, repeat story. To my mind the English just don't look comfortable handling firearms, it's such an American thing, however in these circumstances a strongly worded E-mail to their member of parliament was hardly likely to bring a swift decisive outcome here. On the plus side, there are quite a few plot holes and continuity errors to keep you occupied throughout this outing.
