This Has Gone Way To Far This Time. ⭐⭐⭐

 Dinosaur Prison 2023 initially has a noir feel with its sepia, black and white palette. Which is a welcome change as it brings out the warts and all renderings of the dinosaurs. The only aspect of this movie that stopped me suspending my belief was that the primary antagonists looked more like fashion models than animal activists. They were in fact the Charlies Angels of the activist world. Having said that perhaps a more hysterical version of Charlies Angels. Thats not the only odd characterisation here, I would go so far to say this movie offers the worst Willy Wonka impression ever. But it doesn't wear out its welcome partially as its only one hour and twelve minutes long but mainly thanks to tight editing and pacing. Not an original plot, weaponised dinosaurs have become common fair of late. This then being another version of the super soldier genre. However, it's worth a watch for its noir lite and at times, over the top action that is a little different from what you will see in the other similar scripted outings in this genre.
