Dino Floss, B Movies From The Jurassic To The Triassic.

 Dinosaur Island 2009 is an Asylum movie. It is called The Land That Time Forgot in America and Dinosaur Island in most other countries. I can think of at least two other Land That Time Forgot movies and a further three Dinosaur Island movies. So I hope this helps to double the confusion in placing this movie into any genre context. Is it as the American title suggests another re-remake of the British HGWells book ? No it’s not, it’s its own thing just using the common lost in time trope. As this is of no interest to anyone but me let’s put it behind us. This movie has the requisiteT Rex and Pterodactyl which are well rendered in places and quite effectively used. There is also a good cast that show the appropriate level of fear and surprise. Like all good Dinosploitation movies there is a lot of running, chasing and out of breath posturing from the cast.
